Systanet acquires recruitment IPR

Systanet has acquired the IPR of a software platform used in the recruitment industry as part of a wider-ranging deal to help three related businesses survive the global economic downturn. Under the deal, Systanet takes and retains the IPR to the software that forms the backbone of three recruitment sites. The software is licenced back to the businesses to allow continued trading but moving costs from CAPEX to OPEX.

Systanet will develop the IPR to offer a powerful Software-as-a-Service offering to the recruitment sector – allowing specialist recruitment agencies to have a powerful online presence with virtually zero capital expenditure.

Systanet have recently completed yet another Content Managed System (CMS) holiday accommodation website for a fabulous Grade II (star) listed property in the city of Wells. The Piggeries holiday accommodation website allows this newly formed business to easily update and refine the content of their website using a control panel accessible from any browser.

The client wanted a slightly different, friendly and somewhat quirky, website to reflect both their rustic and charming holiday accommodation in the centre of Wells and their own personalities.

The Post House

Systanet have recently completed a new bed and breakfast website for a fabulous Grade II listed old post house near the historic city of Wells. The Post House Bed and Breakfast website allows the business to constantly update and refine the content of their website through the use of a Content Management System (CMS) from any browser across the world. This allows them to add new photos, text, links to other related businesses and generally provide the best and most recent information to their prospective clients.

The website also includes advertising and banner management so that the business can easily charge and account for advertising placed on the site by other related businesses.

The Back Lady

The Back Lady is a new site developed specifically for the horse and animal chiropractic Dorothy Marks. Dorothy, well known in her field for an holistic and empathetic approach to animal health, asked Systanet Websolutions to build her new web presence.

The site not only provides a repository of helpful information and news to help horse and animal owners care for their horses, but it also provides regularly updated links to other helpful horse and animal care sites.

Systanet constructed the site based on the Joomla Content Management System (CMS) with modified theme XHTML/CSS templates to provide a rapidly constructed yet tailored solution based on existing and proven publishing engine technology. The CMS provides dorothy with a control panel so that she can update her site whenever she wants.

Ebsteins.org

For the first time, this site provides a focal point for research, information and dialogue between those affected by this serious heart condition and the medical profession. It it hoped that, through use of this focal point, the diagnosis, treatment, and understanding of the condition can be better co-ordinated and therefore improved.

Founded by concerned parent Caroline Clarke and with the support of specialist medical consultants from Bristol Children’s Hospital, this site provides a repository of helpful information, news, and forums to support both medics and those affected by the condition.
